This bull calf could turn out
to be the best one we have. His donor cow mother has a
great track record with Dr. Who. This is her natural calf
this year. We decided to flush her for the first time last
year. Here's a few of the reasons why. Here are just
a few of the calves from the past few years:
Pale Face x 108 - "Oreo"
Div. winner at Highland Co. Fair Feeder calf show
Dr. Who x 108 - Pic
at right. Bought for $2500, Grand Champion at Brown County
Open Feeder Show. Sold for $5000
Dr. Who x 108 - Heifer
pictured at right. Bought for $3250, Res Champ. Chi in
BEST Program. In two calves paid for herself +
Dr. Who x 108 - Last
year's bull calf. Sold for $3750. Won three
shows. Kept for a fat steer.
* This is her first solid black bull calf. He was younger
when we picked out calves for the sale and priced him. He
is really coming on!! This could very well be the thickest
and best calf yet!
* This calf is huge boned,
has awesome thickness, and is packing on the pounds. He is
a March 11th, and is really changing over the past couple weeks.
108's calves always explode at this age, and this calf is no
different.
* We made a mistake
pricing this one where we did, and he will sell at the buy it
now price for sure. The new owner will be happy to double
or triple their money on this one later.
