Bidding Instructions
| -All initial bids MUST be made in person or by phone on or before Sunday evening 6:00pm (EST), April 22nd, 2007. |

-Bidding for all calves are as follows: The sale is a private treaty bid sale. There are four base prices: $700, $1000, $1500, and $2000. If you would like to bid the base price on a calf, you can be in at the base. If there are ten people in on the calf at the base price, we call in order that the interested parties bid. For example, calf #22 is based at $2000. There are eight people interested. They all left the base bid of $2000 at different times. If you are interested in leaving the base, you may, but know that by the time you are called, the eight people that bid in front of you will be called in the order that they bid, and by the time the bidding gets to you, if everyone bids, you would have to be in at $2800. When you bid, it is always wise to ask how many people have bid on that calf. -Bidding increments are a $100 minimum up to $3000; $250 minimum after that- |
| - Alternate calf numbers are allowed in case you drop out on your first choice. These calf numbers must be turned in, however, by the close of the sale Sunday evening! |
| - REMEMBER! You do not need to be present to bid, all bidding will be done over the phone. |
| -Calves will be bid off as quickly as time allows. Please be easily accessible by the phone number you provide us. |
| - Cattle may be viewed by appointment prior to the sale date or at the farms on the directions page anytime April 20th, 21st and 22nd |
| -A purchase agreement will be mailed to each buyer following the sale. NO MONEY is required down unless the buyer chooses to do so, HOWEVER, the purchase agreement must be signed immediately after the conclusion of the sale. The Cattle CO reserves the right to refuse bid acceptance. Failure to honor purchase contract will result in legal action. |
| -Calves may be picked up anytime, but NO LATER than July 15th. Payment in full is due at the time of pick up. Payment may be made by CASH, PERSONAL CHECK, or ALL MAJOR CREDIT CARDS. |
