Sold As Red Tag 108 in the 2007 Spring Fling to Fussnecker Farms in Georgetown, OH. He was a Dr. Who x Heatseeker 108. This is a full sib to the 2007 Reserve Champion Chianina Heifer in the B.E.S.T. program shown by Dwight Hamilton (pictured below). The steer pictured was shown very successfully and was selected out of over 200 calves Grand Champion of the Brown County Open Show. The calf was resold for over $2000 profit. We love these kind of success stories! By the way, the 108 cow is bred the same way and due with a bull calf in February! See you at the spring sale again this year!

Dr. Who x Heatseeker 108. This heifer was bought in our 2006 pasture sale and was shown successfully in the 2007 show season by Dwight Hamilton. She was the Reserve Champion Chianina Heifer in the Ohio B.E.S.T. program in '07. At one point, Dwight turned down a large profit on this heifer in order to keep her for his growing herd at Hamilton Farms. Congratulations Dwight and look for offspring from this heifer in one of our upcoming spring sales!

Blue Tag 56. This was the high selling steer calf in our 2007 pasture sale. He was sold to Bruce Egbert (Botkins, Ohio). Bruce sold this steer for a profit and he is currently being shown in the Southern U.S. We love when people can profit off of purchases from our sales!

This Manchild heifer was the No Tag in last year's pasture sale. She was shucking hair at the time of the sale and I mentioned her to most people that came through the pasture that I thought she would be a really good one later on. The great eyes of Brad Hook and Bruce Egbert saw her and loved her gentle disposition and picked her off with one bid. She won her class last month at the Ohio AGR in the crossbred division and was second in class at the Scarlet and Gray. Her best days are still ahead of her, and I'm sure I'll have to update this one soon!
